If you are running a 32 bit home PC, then it is recommended that you use Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32 Bit OEM Service Pack 3. Windows XP is the release of the Microsoft operating system just before the most recent Windows 7 and Windows Vista releases. Windows XP still holds many advantages against the newer releases though and with service pack 3, the most recent upgrades are available. The file system on Windows XP is more or less the same as the newer Windows Vista and Windows 7 releases and its works just the same almost. You can search, edit, delete and create just like you could with the newer file systems.

If you are using a 32 gaming PC then Windows XP is definitely recommended as its processing abilities will surely make game play much easier and safer. The Windows XP operating system which has service pack 3 and the most recent updates installed will make it a safe operating system to use just like the newer Windows 7 and Windows Vista releases. The reason that Windows XP with service pack 3 is safer is simple... all of the holes and problems from previous service packs have been patched making it much harder for the likes of viruses and hackers to corrupt your system. This of course does not mean that Windows XP SP3 is completely flawless. It is advised that you install the most recent and up to date anti-virus and spyware removal software on any Windows XP installation, including the Windows XP Professional 32 Bit OEM Service Pack 3.

Many business and educational departments are still using Windows XP over the more recent Windows 7 and Windows Vista releases so this surely tells us that Windows XP is a safe and reliable system for us to use, no matter what circumstances the Windows XP computer is used for. In fact, many people still prefer to use Windows XP over the newer releases simply because of the fact that it’s a system they are use to using. As long as you keep your Windows XP installation maintained with the most recent service pack installed then it will run just as good as the newer releases. Just remember to turn automatic updates on!

If you are buying a new Windows XP operating system then normally you will only be entitled to one license which means that you can only install the Windows XP on one computer.
